For all Those that Teach

Regarding the discovery of using intellect with observation. To see is not to look. It is the challenge of seeing, learning and passing forward the experience that lands one in the driver's seat. To challenge the distance with far sight is not accomplished with accidental actions. Revealing for others an observation without complication forces distillation of circumstances and recovery of the elements that bring enlightenment.
To use an encyclopedic mind for teaching is not advantageous to many, as the facts explode to tie together the teachers direction, many will be lost in the crossfire. Seeking simplicity may lose those that want substance. So what is the gift of delivery? Where do the students stand in awe and want to see more? It is always in the landscaping of direction that will have fewer stragglers. To place buds of knowledge within the view of the solid growth created from previous education secures not only those ready for leaping ahead, but also plants the intrigue in those that are stepping forward with duty. Not all are equipped for leaping strides without involvement in the small interactions that provide the winding path that holds interest and allows the mind to acquire a dignity of the learning curve. This same winding path will supply interests that the ones wanting to leap ahead will find intrigue in investigation with depth. The balance is quintessential for the broad spectrum of students learning not only in basic curriculum of the younger years, but also those continuing education to broaden an appreciation of information to rise to a conclusion in life when taking a stand becomes a valid challenge.
For it is when those that observe step forward to be the exemplar that the opportunity to lead others forward has a well placed format to proceed.

Regarding frustration . . .

The brain is observing a lack of progress when frustration rears its sensations. Timely intervention has passed without action and now the heaviness of the fullness of dis-ease weights with purpose on the nervous system. When sensations become overwhelming, know by experience that the cause is a 'lack of attention' and the solution is action of catching up to alleviate the stress of complacency. Switch to your most successful action practices. Exercise, clean the room you avoid, change your hair style, whatever perks your attitude of yourself will be the key to action. For it is action that is the nemesis of frustration. Do not tackle the root of the frustration first, but practice on a known release, then the energy needed to turn frustration, by solution will be available. Rewarding the mind by problem solving is just an extension of cleaning the room or changing the hairstyle, by swinging the pendulum the basic physics of action and reaction will once again allow the body and mind to both gain action forward together.

"Congloberiegook"

Congloberiegook compensations is a description of a troubled mind. To stand with the mind just above the drowning zone is where many reside in this time of multi-tasking of physical presence while simultaneously mentally exercising with any form of light box (phone, tablet, computer) engagement. People run on a false sense of accomplishment that gaining the ability to do it all and all at once is to be obtained and maintained. To query what they did yesterday or three days ago brings a look of confusion, for gains and losses are never assessed by intellectual pursuit.

Social media is not designed to bring people face to face. It is a comment, like or reply era where individuals change their views "in mass" and by doing so choose not to be bothered by individual thinking.  Is this driving many to a new low of laziness, absolutely not. By finding themselves busy by checking that their correctness falls in line with the surge of their group they redefine passive aggression by becoming aligned with a single note of symphonic staccato (as in the works of Edgar Varèse).

To reel at such control is not natural, for many find security with mind control, but to seek space and unglue devices is the raising of the electronic veil long enough to encourage a view of self. One need not resign from groups of choice, however disengaging long enough to find a personal comment will not only bring security by voice, but also encourage other individual reactions.

Results on Humanity from Hurricane Harvey

Results on Humanity from Hurricane Harvey

The volatility of “Mother Earth” is and always has been a constant. To not expect that at sometime in life it will strike an area near your home is naive. It is not the act itself that should be judged, but the outpouring of humanity to heal that stands alone as the not only the result of the episode, but also it’s ability to inspire greatness in what may seem the most ordinary of people. To recognize that there is no ordinary in anyone opens bridges to all. Once open all will not only feel hope but be the very instrument that produces it. Judy Maize 9/3/2017

Family values

Lessons for Children Using Compliance and Example.

Look for both avenues when dealing with children, although the lessons they will remember and apply will be more the ones that are the product of example. Compliance is always a requirement for discipline, as children grow to school age discipline may be removed from the home environment, therefore the hours at home are ever more important for instilling family values that govern outside relationships.

Ongoing child rearing is all about proactive communication.

The four basic lessons of communal cohabitation are:

1.     Individuality (the importance of individual thoughts and actions)
2.     Respect (This includes the quietude of listening, showing respect for personal possessions and treating others as you expect to be treated)
3.     Personal Space (Learning to see an imaginary bubble around oneself and respecting the same space around others)
4.     Unified Concern (Learning caring concerns whether they are injuries of body, mind or spirit)

Teaching of children is easiest when these principles are noticed and pointed out as examples, look for opportunities where pause and observation is worth a thousand words.

Derailing a heated Discussion

Derailing a heated Discussion

It is with a course change midstream that provides a unique challenge of finding common ground with an adversary, however it is this crucial moment that can bring the most rewarding results.

Seeking dialogue that can slow up confrontation, not only destabilizes the heat of an argument, but also gives a much needed break allowing the introduction of compromise. The ability to make the effort to open a wider path is best facilitated by a view from outside the train of thought. Careful listening will have provided pieces of knowledge that when used in a constructive approach will allow mental bridges to form. This type of negotiation may be difficult, but with clear understanding of the end goal of forwarding both parties down a cooperative conclusion, it will form a fundamental tool for those seeking a resolution.

By continued practice this type of negotiation becomes not only easier to engage, but also rewarding.

Appreciate the Purpose of Effort

Look beyond a grade for performance when assessing accomplishments. It is not always the end result that reveals success. The journey of the project will yield much in the way of lessons. This applies to physical tasks as well as personal relationships.

The very best job of caring for a garden will eventually see new weeds emerge. It is in the work to enable the garden to thrive where the best gains are seen. The harvest is then assured with the cooperation of mother nature and the toil of the gardener. A sudden storm may eliminate an abundant harvest, but not the joy of the growing experience.

The fluctuation of personal relationships may include variations in interest as the journeys of the individuals do not always run in tandem. The distant assessment will be in recognizing the purpose of the effort, never the separation or the termination of the tie will be recognized as the personal gain.

The accumulation of experience is well digested by the thoughtful mind.

What is the purpose of suffrage or suffering pain?
Question by Marialena, Fort Collins, CO

Pain is the darkness of peace. As the universe was formed from the collision of darkness and light so are the balances of humankind.

Observation and Exampling are the strongest of the human persuasive forces. The thrust of pain is not the natural direction of mindful thought. Therefore, to train the mind to explore the knowledge of the brain before action is one of the great lessons of life.

Man has written "Do no harm", "Love thy neighbor", "We are one" . . . , these messages must move from the brain with consideration to the mind enabling action of soulful intent.

This clearly defines the exercise of mindful thinking. Through leadership of individual exampling this lesson of mindful thinking will expand as it reduces pain and extends peace.

The direct answer to this question (Why suffrage or Pain?) is to ignite the observer to mindful thought leading to a life by example that can stretch peace beyond their circle.
